Anomalous video display page

The display has been working perfectly. Today it started blinking, the image faded and it started displaying random patterns.

I was running the SPI interface at 50MHz, but this looked like a synchronization issue, so I dropped back to 12MHz.

 

This is 12 MHz. Not much better.
