This is Violet who is probably a Chihuahua - Dachshund - something else mix. We don't know. Sometimes Apple Photos on the MacStudio thinks she is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. So there's that, but I don't see it. Other times Photos shows her as a Chiweenie. That could be.

Violet came to us from a rescue. She was living on the streets of Austin, TX and followed a woman home one very cold night and camped on her doorstep. The woman brought her inside, as it was supposed to get very cold that night, and put her in a box with a blanket for the night. The next morning she found Violet in her box with eight puppies!

Violet and her puppies entered the rescue and was placed with fosters. Once the puppies were old enough, they transported Violet to us early in the spring of 2024. 

North and Violet play together, but sometimes she doesn't like his games. The rope toys aren't her idea of fun with North.
